Despite the absolutely stunning underwater scenery with all the soft corals on the steep walls. Together with large schools of pelagic fish swimming just outside the reef walls waiting for their chance to find some smaller fishes. Imagine all of this, and then a Giant Manta Ray or Whale Shark glides past to visit the cleaning stations! These giants of the sea regularly come to visit diving Hin Daeng / Hin Muang. Except for all the large stuff that we often see at these dive sites, there is also a large variety of makro hiding on the steep walls.

To be able to dive at this place there will not be enough to have a limit of 18 m depth. Sometimes the current is quite strong and challenging which is why we have to descend and ascend by a line. The reef starts at around 16 m and sometimes the only shelter from the current is to be found at 20 – 22 m or even deeper.

Advanced open water diver or open water diver with deep adventure dive is a minimum

If you are an Open Water certified diver it might still be possible to dive at Hin Daeng / Hin Muang. We require you to do a day fun diving with us first at one of our local dive sites so we can see that you are comfortable in the water. You would then dive at Hin Deang/Hin Muang with an instructor for the day and complete the PADI adventure dive on the day.
