PADI Rescue diver Course Thailand

The PADI Rescue Diver Course with Lanta Diver is probably the most valuable course you will take!

Scuba divers describe the Rescue Diver course as the most challenging, yet most rewarding course they’ve ever taken. Why? Because you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water and become more confident in your skills as a diver. Knowing that you can help others if needed. During the Rescue Diver Course Thailand, you learn to become a better buddy by practising problem-solving skills until they become second nature. The course is serious but a lot of fun at the same time.

You will also learn more about how diving affects us physiologically and what is actually going on in our bodies when we are diving. The theory for the course is completed by eLearning before the course starts. The first day will be a theory review followed by a pool session where we introduce the rescue skills to you. The second day will be spent on the beach (or on the boat) practising the rescue skills. The third and final day of the Rescue Diver Course Thailand is when you go out on the boat where you put everything together and deal with different Rescue Scenarios.

Be better prepared for any situation before, during and after diving.

The PADI Rescue Diver Koh Lanta prepares you to deal with minor and major diving emergencies using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During several rescue scenarios you put into practice your knowledge and skills. Topics include:

  • Self Rescue
  • Recognizing and managing stress in other divers
  • Emergency management and equipment
  • Rescuing panicked divers
  • Rescuing unresponsive divers
